Sea Breezes was an in-house magazine published by the PSNC in 1919. Eventually, it grew to include general commercial shipping news as well. The first editor of the magazine was Thomas Edwin "Pardy" Edwards. In the late 1930s, the magazine was published by Charles Birchall and Sons, 17 James Street, Liverpool. The title was changed to Sea Breezes – The Ship Lovers' Magazine to emphasize the importance of shipping to people from varied backgrounds. Normal publishing was halted during World War Two, but a weekly Saturday column still circulated in the Journal of Commerce and Shipping Telegraph. In 1946, production resumed and the title was changed to Sea Breezes – The Ship Lovers' Digest

Shipping news proved so popular that the  magazine continues to circulate even today, under the editorship of Captain Peter Corrin. For more information or subscription check here.
