Reina Del Pacifico (Queen of the Pacific), built by Harlond and Wolff in 1931, remains the largest steamer of the Pacific Steam Navigation Company. Below are some pre-war pictures of the interior of the ship before it was converted into a troopship. For more information, visit here.
William Wheelwright ordered postage stamps for postage of letters circulated by the company in 1847. The stamps were printed at Perkins, Bacon & Co. in London where his cousin Joshua Butters Bacon worked. The 1 real, blue colored stamp features the steam ship Peru and the 2 real, reddish-brown stamp features the steam ship Chile.
